The Joys of Nothing

You know how sometimes you want to do just absolutely nothing.
Nothing to the extent that you can notice the silence (or the noise) or the temperature or the fact that your stomach hasn't growled in hours?
The wonderful feeling of having done NOTHING productive in the last 72 hours?
Its a for of art in itself. Aesthetic (or not) pleasure.
i mean this is what i did today-
  • Slept
  • Slept some more
  • Cooked
  • Ate
  • Snacked ;)
  • Watched Grey's Anatomy
  • Bathed for Ever
  • Slept
The Joys of Nothing.

I mean, don't get me wrong.
I'm not saying that its a great thing if it goes on for too long, because then the silence will just eat you up and you'll think about all the bad things in the world and then your life will be unconstructive and you'll realise it and you'll curse yourself for it and it goes on.
But sometimes, when you've had a really fast (i hate the word hectic for some reason and therefore I'm not using it) few months and your brain has constantly been at work and then Bam! You get a break and a chance to do nothing, just get fat. It feels just Great!

Even if theres (sickly!) snow around and a grumpy sibling and a stupid old plastic country, if you're doing nothing, sometimes its just plain awesome. [As long as you're not worrying about not fitting into the new set(s) of clothes you just bought]

Stupid old plastic country. That is genius, Fundoo. Sheer genius. And you know I'm going to use the phrase henceforth, passing it off as my creation, so that everyone thinks I'm smart and creative.

why is "stupid old plastic country" creative?

It is, you know. I've never read anyone describe the States like that before. Or maybe I'm just dumb, and haven't read enough. :)
