jumping into the bandwagon

writing is not what it used to be. who's the fool who claimed it is an expression of one's views, opinions or innermost feelings? Writing,today, is an extremely commercial, screwed up form of a shout out for publicity.
in simpler words- writing is a socially acceptable form of schizophrenia in today's society.
no one writes for themselves. everyone writes for others to read their work and think its good writing. you write for followers, for comments,for profile views. you write to be discovered.
writing's lost it's charm in this commercial brouhaha.
but i've always been one to jump into the bandwagon.
i tried to keep aloof.i did. i swear. i maintained a blog with regulated entry but alas! i was accused of being a communist. so here i am, in an open-for-all blog; not writing like no one's reading but writing hoping that someone's reading.
over the years, originality in writing has gone for a toss so i'm going to name my blog something i came across while studying history.
